Anxiety and Our Choices
I can’t control when anxiety floats into me and takes hold. Can you?
What I can do is choose how I use my time and energy, and even my thoughts.
Instead of futilely resisting anxiety or feeding its demands, I will do things that support my long-term well-being and best interests: meditate, walk, wash the dishes, rest, read, love on the cats, breathe and know I’m breathing, get a massage. . . a universe of possibilities.
What will you do?
