We’re Adapting To Get Back To Serving You

We have good news! Massage Vermont will offer healing treatments virtually. We are excited to resume our comfort-care services to you, safely and effectively.

Chris and I will complete teacher training and commence offering virtual sessions in evidence-based breathing techniques. Once you learn these techniques, you can use them on your own and, if you choose, continue working with us to support your progress.

Chris and I are experienced teachers and mindfulness practitioners. Changing our breathing has supported and improved our physical and emotional condition during this very challenging time. We found the Buteyko Method most helpful.

Clinical trials show the Buteyko Method’s promising results in improving conditions including

  • Anxiety, stress, and panic attacks
  • Insomnia and sleep apnea
  • Asthma, rhinitis, and hay fever

We learned about the Buteyko Method when we read the excellent book Breath: The New Science of a Lost Art, which we’ve blogged about.

In addition to getting trained, we’ll upgrade our website to accommodate remote video sessions. We’re deeply grateful for the EMBRACE grant that makes it possible for our business to survive and adapt for these times.

Massage Vermont will remain closed for in-person treatments until up-close work in enclosed spaces is again reliably safe for you and for us.
